The Carbon4SoilQuality (C4SQ) project took center stage at the National Congress of the Italian Society of Agronomy, held in Matera from September 11-13, 2024. Teams from the University of Padua (UNIPD) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), both integral partners of the C4SQ project under the Interreg Euro-MED Natural Heritage program, proudly presented the project’s activities and progress during the congress.
The topic of Carbon Farming drew significant attention from participants, highlighting its vital role in promoting sustainable agriculture, improving soil health, and mitigating climate change. The discussions emphasized the importance of advancing innovative practices like those developed within the C4SQ project to support resilient agricultural systems across the Mediterranean. We are proud to see the project gaining recognition and fostering meaningful dialogue within the scientific community. Together, we continue working towards a sustainable agricultural future.
