Exciting News! 🌱 The Carbon4SoilQuality project took off with great momentum on February 1-2 in the picturesque setting of Bled, Slovenia. Our project is committed to supporting carbon farming, thereby contributing to the enhancement of soil quality. We are thrilled to announce the commencement of our collaborative efforts with eight prominent international partners comprising universities and institutes from Italy, Spain, Greece, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
During our kick off meeting, we focused on developing a toolbox tailored to empower farmers in adopting carbon-friendly practices. Discussions were enriched with methodological insights as we navigated through various options for implementing planned activities.
One of our noteworthy achievements was successfully addressing the challenge of aligning our approach on a common methodological basis, ensuring that the data collected will be both comprehensive and comparable across the diverse regions and countries within the Mediterranean.
Stay tuned for updates and activities! 🌍
